Stone continous..

Raw material for me to transform into.... WHAT??
Well it became something completly diffrent from what I planned, wich comes as no surprise to me =) !

Personally I don´t think this picture does the piece any justice. Which off course means I have to learn to use a camera...

We have started our two weeks of stone carving, and I am liking it =) !!

Making fun of the masters..?

Not making fun of, but playing with! I had this piece of wood over from a previous project, and then when we cut off the end of a worthog tooth, it looked "exactly" like a very famous painting...

In progress!

I wanted to make something really big =) !
What I am trying to do is capture this past year in one piece and also move forward into my next projekt. Humble? Me? hahahaha
Painted the back side black and frowned so much my friends told me -" You don´t like that colour do you?" Correct!
I REALLY don´t like black!!
And off we go =) !

Wrought iron!

Unexpectedly I love the heat from the little oven =) !
 Hmmm, what will it become....
Beautiful fire! So much fun working with iron!

Getting closer to the final product! Can anyone guess what it is going to be??

On canvas and on really cool paper I found in a little store nearby our school! Proud member of the-no-longer-take-life-so-serious-club!
Some of what I managed to print during the Screen period. I think I made six or seven T-shirts for Anders, not all of them pink ...
Me working at the screen table. Once I got the hang of it I found out I LOVE SCREEN!! And I have so many ideas of what I want to do!!
This is the text printed on Anders´s T-shirts...
Mammaografi and Never tell me the sky is the limit when there are footprints on the moon.

More Etching...

Ballerina shoes for Saga who very much would like to dance ballet, and become a ballerina! She wanted them to be pink, and this is how close I got without actually painting them pink!
 Personally this is  my favourite!!
Butterfly! Of course: Parnassius Apollo, forma dilatata. The red dots on the wings is to be filld in when I find the right kind of red, or rather learn to blend it myself...
This is my entry to the competion " Kulinariska Gotland" in wich I came second...
Sometimes you just have to play a bit and have fun with it!!

I´m back =)

It´s been a while haha a very long while, and now it´s easter! First thing we did after X-mas holiday was Etching, and after that was Screen print. Both were extremly fun, with enthusiastic teachers encouraging us to explore and have fun with it! I did a lot of printing and here are some examples of what I did.
More will come later, now it´s time to play in the snow!

As you can see,I REALLY like the etching =) !
